SAS® Platform Modernisation

Context and Need: Organisations  who own and maintain legacy SAS infrastructures deal with high levels of cost to keep environments running. Unless they modernise these platforms, cost will spiral.

Practical Application: After thorough analysis, an organisation decides to move away from a SAS legacy platform to Viya, Altair or a similar solution. As a result, they benefit from cloud based computing and lower total cost of ownership, whilst maintaining the same or stronger analytics capabilities.

Context and Need: A large enterprise is looking to leverage newer computing technologies, to perform more complex computing and drive their predictive and AI strategy. They cannot achieve this with their current infrastructure.

Practical Application: Develop a comprehensive cloud migration strategy to transition existing infrastructure to a new platform, incorporating MLops and Cognitive Services to enhance the organisation's ability to use new technologies to analyse their data and produce insights.

Context and Need: With business operations complexity growing, larger Enterprises require much larger flexibility from their Data & Analytics infrastructure to achieve the right results. Older technology is not ready to offer this flexibility.

Practical Application: By migrating to modern platforms, Enterprises can increase their flexibility to adopt and implement new technologies as they are introduced to the market. This greatly decreases dependency on a single platform and boosts innovation by offering more options to D&A teams.
